I drank a glass of water recently and it tasted a bit metallic and had a strange odor about it, so I thought what can I add to my tap water to make it taste better? Some obvious things sprang to mind like a slice of lime, orange or lime to add a touch of flavor to it.

That would probably do the trick but I was getting away from the real question of why my tap water was tasting so bad in the first place. Maybe I should investigate a bit further and seek an explanation.
